1. Katia Colibri: 51 % Cotton, 45% Acrylic, 4% Nylon. Gauge is 19 sts = 4" on US 6-7. Approximately 223 yards per 50 gram skein.
2. Katia Linen: 53% Cotton, 47% Linen. Gauge is 22 sts = 4" on US 5-6. Approximately 122 yards per 50 gram skein.
Read Interweave Knits Spring 2008 Yarn Review of Katia's Linen: "This yarn is a straightfoward blend of linen and a near neighbor, cotton. Though it retains the best linen has to offer - sheen, luster, and strength- the shorter cotton fibers keep the yarn soft and easy to knit with. A single strand of Katia Linen is made up of nine separate threads, first spun into three three-ply strands and then cabled back on each other for a dense, firm round cord with excellent stitch definition. The roundness of the yarn makes it ideal for texture or cables that stand out in high relier, but be warned: Heavier, denser fabrics may highligh the yarn's lack of spring. Fortunately, a quick tumble in the washing machine can even out stitches and restore original measurements."
3. Araucania Pomaire: 100% Pima Cotton. Gauge is 5 sts = 4" on a US 7. Gauge is approximately 183 yards per 100 gram hank.
