SPECTRA by Stephen West  Two different yarns using short row shaping creates a curved shawl/scarf with nice drape. Basic intarsia technique entwines two strands of yarn to make seamless wedges.

KNIT ALONGS (KAL'S) ........

KNIT YOUR OWN NATIVITY  Start now and be ready for NEXT Christmas with our Nativity kit and Knit-Along.

Our kit provides the pattern book, the yarn, and the fiberfill necessary to knit figures from the nativity scene.  Those who purchase the kit are welcome to join our KAL.

The second Saturday of each month, March through October, 1:00 - 3:00.  We will work on one figure each month. (sign up deadline is Friday, February 24th)

"FREDDIE'S BLANKET"  is a sweet children's book about learning to sleep in a big bed. Freddie the Platypus is the main character and he has a sister May. The book includes knitting patterns for Freddie and May (no seam construction) as well as their blankets (color work using the slipstitch method). This could be a fun project to create for the little one in your life. Also included in the patterns is a wonderful "Baby Envelope" pattern.
