Bead Knitting: A Beaded Bag - $60

Knit designer Mary Meyer is in town and wants to teach the Bella Babes how to knit with beads to make a gorgeous beaded bag! Class fee is $60, and this includes purse handle & beads. Additional supplies needed: 2 sets of US 5, 24" or 32" circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge), and approximately 360 yards of DK weight yarn.
True Beginner Knitting Classes - $45 for 3 classes
May 10, 17, 31: 1-3pm, Saturdays
This is a three session class where you will learn the basics of knitting. You will learn to Cast On your stitches, the basic knit and purl stitch and how to use these two stitches to create other stitch patterns such as the rib and seed stitches. You will also learn to add in a yarn to your work and to bind off and weave in ends.
Into to Sock Knitting - $60 for 4 classes
June 8, 12, 19, 26: 2-4pm, Thursdays
Now is your chance to try sock knitting. If you have never tried a sock before, or have never been successful, but are comfortable with knitting and purling, sign up for Anne's beginner sock class and you'll be well on your way. Supplies not included.

Double Knitting Color & Chart Reading Workshop - $30 for 2 classes
May 21, 28: 2:30-4:30pm, Wednesdays
Double knitting creates a reversible, two- layer, double-thick fabric. You work both sides of the fabric at once, with stitches from each side of the fabric alternating on the needles. When working a double knit fabric, you will first work a stitch from the side of the fabric facing you and then you will work a matching stitch from the opposite side of the fabric. Learn this technique, and learn to follow a chart while making a knitted square that can become one square of a baby blanket, or knit with wool and felt your project afterwards to have a fully functional pot holder.
Bead Knitting Workshop - $20

Learn to knit with beads while making a beautiful beaded bracelet. Using this beading technique you will be able to use beads in your knitting, or make your own knit jewelry. You will need to purchase a beaded bracelet kit for $34.95. Class fee includes knitting needles.

Colorwork Techniques Workshop - $45 for 3 classes

Intarsia and Fair Isle are color work techniques used to create patterns with multiple colors. In these three sessions, you will learn the difference between these two techniques and when they are used in knitting patterns. You will learn tips & tricks, which bobbins work best, how to manage the various yarn colors, etc. You’ll learn the class with a greater understanding of colorwork.
Noni Felted Purse Knit-Along – No Class Fee

Noni bags are bags to be worn, not just carried. They are, like jewelry or any adornment, extensions of our personalities. Let your creativity guide you as much as these patterns do toward making your own unique statement. Add interesting combinations of flowers to your bags, go on color adventures, but most of all, enjoy the process along with other fellow Noni Knitters!
Needle Felting Workshop - $30

In this class you will be supplied with everything you need to learn the steps to needle felting while practicing your first needle felted design. Kid’s Knitting Camp ages 8-12

We’re having one week of camp this summer which will cover the basics of knitting (or more advanced techniques for kids who already know how). We’ll start by decorating our own knitting bag and making knitting needles! Then we’ll learn the basics and start knitting! During the week we’ll also dye a skein of yarn, learn to make pom-poms and master spool knitting. Rest assured that they’ll be kept busy and enthralled by Sarah Marie!
